Valco Palinca De Maramures Slivovitz

Valco Palinca de Maramureș Slivovitz is a Romanian plum brandy made from fully ripened plums in the Maramureș region, double-distilled and commonly aged for about four years before bottling. It typically presents bold plum aromas with subtle almond or stone-fruit kernel notes, a clean yet rich palate of mature plum with warm dried-fruit undertones, and a smooth, slightly peppery finish; the alcohol strength usually falls around 40-45 % ABV.  Best served neat in a tulip or tasting glass at room temperature so the fruit and distillation character shine through.
