Samuel Adams Utopias 2025 is a limited-edition, extreme barrel-aged beer from the Boston Beer Company, released every two years. The 2025 edition reaches 30% ABV, setting a new record for the series and blurring the line between beer and spirits. It is non-carbonated and aged in a variety of barrels including whiskey, cognac, and port casks, then bottled in a special ceramic decanter designed for sipping rather than traditional beer pouring. Due to its high alcohol content, it cannot be sold or shipped in about 15 U.S. states. Highly rare and collectible, Utopias 2025 is aimed at craft beer enthusiasts and connoisseurs of experimental brewing.
