Don Fulano Anejo Tequila

Like all Don Fulano tequilas, Don Fulano Añejo is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The highland agave tends to produce tequilas with more agave-forward sweetness and complex flavors, which come through beautifully in this expression. Don Fulano Añejo is aged for 2-3 years in a combination of American oak and French oak barrels. The oak aging process adds rich complexity to the tequila, bringing out spicy, woody, and caramelized flavors, which harmonize perfectly with the natural agave sweetness. On the palate, it is smooth, rich, and velvety, with a prominent taste of aged agave mixed with caramel, toffee, oak, and spice. The tequila also has a slight peppery warmth, balanced by a round and soft mouthfeel. The complexity of French oak contributes notes of dark chocolate and hazelnut. The finish is long, warm, and satisfying, with lingering hints of vanilla, oak, and spice, offering a smooth, refined ending.
