Unlike the standard Crown Royal expressions, Marquis is finished in Caribbean rum casks, which adds a layer of exotic sweetness and depth to the classic Canadian whisky base. It’s bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) and crafted to offer a smooth yet flavorful spirit that bridges traditional whisky elegance with vibrant rum-influenced character.

On the nose and palate, Crown Royal Marquis delivers rich notes of honey, brown sugar, and vanilla, with hints of date and fig that play off the rum cask influence and give it a distinct warmth and complexity compared to standard Crown Royal blends. The finish is smooth and approachable, making it enjoyable neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails. 

Launched in select U.S. markets in 2025 with a suggested retail around $39.99, Marquis was marketed as a whisky crafted for memorable occasions and social moments, reflecting a modern take on Canadian whisky while expanding Crown Royal’s portfolio with a novel flavor profile and experience.
