Cenzon Reposado Tequila is another variation in the Cenzon Tequila lineup, but unlike the Silver, it is aged for a period of time, typically between two months to a year, in oak barrels. This aging process gives the Reposado tequila a smoother, more complex flavor profile with notes of vanilla, caramel, and subtle oak, alongside the natural agave flavor. The longer aging time compared to a Silver allows the tequila to take on more richness and depth.
Cenzon Reposado is often enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or used in cocktails where a more nuanced tequila flavor is desired, like a classic margarita, old fashioned, or tequila sunrise. It strikes a good balance between the fresh and bright flavors of a Silver and the deep, rich characteristics of an Añejo.
