Badel Stara Sljivovica Old Plum Brandy

Badel Stara Sljivovica Old Plum Brandy is a Croatian plum-brandy crafted by Badel 1862 from the locally grown Bistrica plum variety; distilled from fully ripe plums, aged in Slavonian oak casks for at least 12 months to develop its amber hue and subtle wood character, it is bottled at approximately 40% ABV.  On the nose it offers fragrant, ripe-plum aromas with a hint of vanilla or cedar from the oak; on the palate it reveals smooth fruit sweetness balanced by gentle woody spice and a clean, mellow finish.  It’s designed to be enjoyed neat (well-chilled if preferred) as a digestif or special treat, reflecting the tradition of Croatian šljivovica
